The 'Agile Project Management' course focuses on the practical aspects of agile project management. Participants gain knowledge about the role of project managers in an agile organization, organizational transformation, client engagement, increasing work predictability, and managing change. The program covers Agile concepts such as Scrum and Kanban and discusses the roles of key players, i.e., Product Owner, Project Team, and Scrum Master. Participants learn how to initiate and plan agile projects, monitor progress, implement agile project delivery practices, Kanban methods, and introduce Agile in traditional organizations.

This intensive two-day course is tailored to assist teams embedded in an Agile Release Train (ART) in achieving high performance within Agile ecosystems by leveraging frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming (XP). Attendees will gain insights into operating effectively as Agile teams, managing backlogs, and successfully planning and executing iterations. A key focus is placed on grasping the team's specific function within the ART and mastering the art of collaborating, planning, executing, and driving continuous improvement alongside peer teams.

The curriculum equips teams to actively engage in Program Increment (PI) activities, addressing both team-level and program-level events, with a strong emphasis on preparing for PI planning sessions. Upon completing the course, participants will be well-prepared to sit for the certification exam to achieve SAFe® Practitioner (SP) certification.
