- Readiness preparation for third-party certification audits
Outline
Day 1: Introduction to ISO/IEC 42001 and the initiation of an AIMS implementation
Day 2: Planning the implementation of an AIMS
Day 3: Implementation of an AIMS
Day 4: AIMS monitoring, continual improvement, and preparation for the certification audit
Day 5: Certification exam

Exam
The “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer” assessment adheres to all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) standards. It evaluates the following competency areas:
Domain 1: Foundational principles and concepts of an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS)
Domain 2: Requirements for an Artificial Intelligence Management System
Domain 3: Planning an AIMS implementation based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 4: Implementing an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 5: Monitoring and measuring an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 6: Continuous improvement and preparation for an AIMS certification audit
Available Credentials and Requirements
Following a successful exam result, you may apply for one of the following credentials based on your professional background and project experience. Certification is granted once all criteria for the chosen tier are met, including the signing of the PECB Code of Ethics.
1. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Provisional Implementer

2. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Implementer

Professional Experience: Two years of total experience, with at least one year focused in artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 200 hours of project activities

3. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer

Professional Experience: Five years of total experience, with at least two years focused in artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 300 hours of project activities

4. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Senior Lead Implementer

Exam Requirement: PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer exam or equivalent

Professional Experience: Ten years of total experience, with at least seven years focused in artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: At least 1,000 hours of project activities

General
- Certification and examination fees are included in the price of the training course.
- Participants receive training course materials containing over 400 pages of information, practical examples, exercises, and quizzes.
- An attestation of course completion worth 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits will be issued to the participants who have attended the training course.
- Candidates who have completed the training course but failed the exam are eligible to retake the exam once for free within 12 months from the initial date of the exam.
Requirements
Primary prerequisite: A foundational understanding of AIMS and the ISO/IEC 42001 standard is expected of all attendees.
