Ubuntu Training in Srbija

In a modern IT environment where flexibility and cost-efficiency are paramount, adopting open-source infrastructure has shifted from a mere choice to a strategic imperative. While your team may have strong expertise in Windows environments, the lack of effective Linux capabilities limits the deployment of scalable web applications and advanced storage solutions.

The Solution: This intensive 5-day program is designed to close this skill gap. Rather than simply teaching individual commands, we aim to evolve Windows-focused administrators into proficient Linux System Engineers. Upon completion, your team will be equipped to deploy secure web servers, oversee networked storage, and—most importantly—implement centralized identity management on Linux using Active Directory protocols.

By the end of this training, participants will be capable of:

• Deployment and Security: Installing Ubuntu Server from the ground up and hardening it with industry-standard SSH protocols.
• Identity Management: (New) Configuring and administering Active Directory services via Samba to centralize user accounts and authentication (LDAP).
• Automation: Creating Bash scripts to streamline repetitive maintenance routines.
• Hosting: Deploying and maintaining production-grade web servers (Apache/Nginx).

This instructor-led, live training in Srbija (online or onsite) is designed for system administrators who want to leverage Ubuntu to configure and manage network devices, virtual machines, and containers within a secure, customizable, and user-friendly environment.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to:

• Establish the necessary environment to manage network devices, virtual machines, and cloud images using Ubuntu.
• Understand Ubuntu’s features and advantages, as well as its various distributions.
• Configure network devices and security protocols using bash and sudo shell commands.
• Utilize Ubuntu’s available technologies (such as OpenStack) and tools to manage virtualization and cloud containers.
• Learn how to set up and configure mail servers (Dovecot, Exim4, and Postfix) and web servers (Apache) on Ubuntu.
