  • Explain SRV records and DNS mechanisms.
  • Clarify URIs/URLs/URNs, ENUM, and NAPTR records.
  • Describe the mapping of services to addresses.
  • Outline SIP-T and SIP-I standards.
  • Explain SIP early media and SIP trunks.
  • Detail call flows between the PSTN and IP networks using SIP.
  • Describe Secure SIP, Secure RTP, and Secure RTCP protocols.
  • Review typical Secure SIP implementations.

Requirements

  • Participants are expected to have a working knowledge of TCP/IP.
  • A basic understanding of VoIP is beneficial but not mandatory.
