Professional Scrum with Kanban | PSK Training Course

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is a two-day course designed to teach Scrum through highly practical methods. Participants dive straight into the material through instruction and team-based exercises.

By working through a series of Sprints, student teams build a software application, allowing them to confront real-life challenges. This approach demonstrates the mechanics, roles, principles, and (empirical) process of Scrum. The course also discusses common missteps and misunderstandings to help students develop greater awareness of their symptoms.

Applying Professional Scrum (APS) is the ideal training for teams and anyone looking to experience the Scrum way of working. Professional Scrum Certification

All participants completing the Applying Professional Scrum course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) assessment. The industry-recognized PSM I certification requires a minimum passing score of 85%. APS class participants who attempt the PSM I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

Professional Agile Leadership Essentials is a 2-day workshop designed to equip leaders and managers of Agile teams, along with their Product Owners and Scrum Masters, to help their organizations change by providing participants with:

• An overview of what “Agile” is and why organizations need it to thrive in a changing world.
• The means to identify the potential opportunities, challenges and impacts of Agile in terms of business value and why this is so important to the next generation organization.
• An understanding of techniques to support teams to sustain long-term agility including the role that leaders play, shifts in thinking, and the relationship between complexity and empiricism.
• Ways to continue the development of the people to help them grow and prosper in an agile way of working. • Guidance of how to measure and guide agile product delivery.
• Discuss ways to scale agility across several teams within the organization while keeping them working together to deliver on a common vision.

Professional Agile Leadership Certification

All participants completing the Professional Agile Leadership - Essentials course will receive a password to attempt the Professional Agile Leadership I (PAL I) certification assessment. PAL-E class participants who attempt the PAL I assessment within 14 days of receiving their free password and do not score at least 85% will be granted a 2nd attempt at no additional cost.

SPS class participants who take the SPS assessment within 14 days of receiving their complimentary password and score less than 85% will be granted a second attempt at no additional cost. The industry-recognized SPS certification requires a minimum passing score of 85% and demonstrates a solid understanding of the Nexus Framework, course material, and Scrum principles.
