It begins with an introduction to OpenStack and its architecture, then clarifies the core OpenStack projects: Identity service (Keystone), Image service (Glance), Compute service (Nova), and Block storage (Cinder). The virtual network infrastructure is described based on the Open Virtual Network project, Open vSwitch, and OpenFlow.
